Alcohol Chemical Training Services
Alcohol, Chemical, Treatment Series, A.C.T.S. is a program for those addicted to slcohol and various chemical substances to educate them of the effects of such abuse. If you have a problem with such an addiction, know someone who could benefit from such a class, or need additional information, contact us. The A.C.T.S. program is a 12 week program that is state approved.

Apostolic Iron Men
Apostolic Iron Men, the men’s ministry of Southern Oaks United Pentecostal Church, gives direction and inspiration to men who choose to dedicate their lives to living and working for Jesus Christ. Apostolic Iron Men offers programs tailored to minister to men of all ages. This ministry is built upon the premise found in Proverbs. Apostolic Iron Men provides opportunities to influence and encourage one another so that each man and every family grows stronger.

Bus Ministry
Our bus ministry was started several years ago by Bro. Hugh Thompson, who had a burden for children whose families did not attend church. This ministry has grown and now provides transportation every Sunday morning to those who otherwise would not be able to attend Sunday School. If you need transportation to and from church please feel free to call 634-2991.

Children's Ministry
If you desire the plan of salvation to be planted in your child’s heart, Southern Oaks United Pentecostal Children’s Church is the place to visit. Not only will we plant Biblical truths in your child’s heart, but we will help nourish them by having fun worshipping God, singing praises unto our Saviour, performing puppet shows, skits, activities, and having Spirit-led teaching. Our Children’s Church staff is energetic, devoted and committed to providing a God fearing foundation to bring forth sprouts and even blooms from any child looking for the eternal salvation experience of a lifetime.

Drama Team
The main purpose for the drama team at Southern Oaks United Pentecostal Church is to create another avenue to direct our worship and praise unto our Lord, the Most High God. Secondly being a part of the drama team allows the members to be very blessed and used of God. For example, drama opens up new doors for outreach and helps create an interest in worship. This is a very different way to give God the glory and be a blessing to others. Most of all we desire to be anointed and used by God in a mighty way.

Excell
Southern Oaks United Pentecostal church offers a distance learning program through Texas Bible College. This programs allows an individual to receive education about the Bible through curriculum that is from Texas Bible College. All credit hours received can be applied toward a degree. This ministry allows those who cannot commit to being a full-time student to obtain Biblical knowledge.

Foreign Missions
Southern Oaks United Pentecostal Church is honored to be a part of the ministries of over 100 missionaries around the world. Through prayer and financing we are filling Christ's commission to spread the gospel to every creature. We have partnered with several missionaires to build churches, construct Bible Schools, produce literature, and help with other special projects. Our burden for the lost is not restricted to our city, but goes around the globe!

Into the Word Book Club
Into the Word Book Club is a Bible and book reading organization that meets on the last Tuesday of the month for approximately one hour after prayer service. The objective of this class is to enhance biblical knowledge and spiritual growth through reading and discussion of the Bible and Christian books.

Leadership Training
Leadership Training is available to all members of Southern Oaks United Pentecostal Church who wish to gain a clear indication of where they stand in God’s leadership structure and how to have develop greater effectiveness through study of God appointed leaders.

Music
The purpose of the gift of music is to glorify God and to usher His presence into our midst. And we must do it with our whole heart, mind and energy, in order to “praise Him according to His excellent greatness." We are blessed to have Sis. Amanda Moniz to help lead us into this realm of worship.

Outreach
"Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature" (Matthew 16:15). Outreach is necessary. This ministry offers various opportunities to reach out to our community. We offer home bibe studies in English and Spanish. Throughout the year we distribute information door to door, welcoming people to our assembly and to meet the Lord Jesus Christ!

Preserving Christian Homes
Preserving Christian Homes (PCH) is a group of young married couples and single parents who meet to fellowship and discuss the challenges of living for God, raising children, and building strong families in today's society. PCH sponsors various outings and activities to provide wholesome fun and entertainment for the family.

Prison Ministry

"And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free" (John 8:32). A group of volunteers go weekly into the Oklahoma County Juvenile Facility to help the youth of our community make better choices for their future. They teach the A.C.T.S. program to instruct the young teens how to change their lives.

Prime Timers
The Prime Timers are a group of Seniors and married couples and parents who have raised their children. They meet regularly for food and fellowship. This group is very instrumental in tending to saints that are in need.

Sign-Language Team
We are blessed with a special team of ladies who have offered their talents to the Lord in the way of sign-language. Throughout various services they bless our congregation by making a song come to life through sign-language.

Singles
Need encouragement? Southern Oaks United Pentecostal Church endorses and host activities and services sponsored by the Oklahoma District. The Singles' motto is "connecting in worship, fellowship, and Christian development." Come be a part of this great ministry.

Spanish Ministry
Southern Oaks United Pentecostal Church is equipped to minister God's Word in English and in Spanish. Our goal is to effectively present to our diverse community an unrestrained gospel, able to bridge cultural differences and change people's lives. You can attend any of our services and hear the service in Spanish through an interpreter.

Sunday School
Every Sunday morning our Sunday School department provides a fun educational experience for all ages! All classes through the Juniors II enjoy times of singing, teaching, crafts, etc. Classes from Junior High and above enjoy teaching and activities before joining the Adults at 10:45 AM for Morning Worship. While our Sunday School is designed to be entertaining and fun, the focus is to impart the word of God to the children in every class in a manner that will impact their lives. Age appropriate Bible lessons are delivered by teachers who love and have a burden for children.

Women of the Word
Women of the Word, a ministry of Southern Oaks United Pentecostal Church, fosters spiritual growth and fellowship among women of all ages through prayer, Bible lessons and various activities.

Youth
The Youth of Southern Oaks meet each Friday night in the youth room at 7:30. Our meetings are inspiring and relevant to the challenges young people face today. Our youth take an active role in leading and participating in each service. Please visit their web site.
